We are a 501C3 non-profit, faith-based ministry, founded in May 1997. Our mission is to enhance the lives of others, empowering them to experience the mighty works of God in their lives. Inspired by Zephaniah 3:17, we believe God is in our midst, ready to do extraordinary things through each and everyone of us.
Below is a copy of a page that came from my autograph book the year I was entering junior high school. At that time, my initials were DMT. Ralph Elvy, who was a dear family friend, took the time to sign my book. That day, Ralph did a very mighty thing by taking the time to thoughtfully write in a little kid's autograph book. His wise words have made a positive impact on my life. I'm sure Ralph didn't give it a second thought after I left his home. Sometimes what we think is an insignificant act of kindness can have a profound effect on the life we touch.

Hi, I'm Debbie Barber, the founder and president of DMT Ministries. I am an ordained minister and certified master life coach. I received my ordination through World Ministry Fellowship where I have been a member since 1997. With a passion for truth and a love for people, I have been teaching the Bible in small group settings for many years. I am a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother! Don't let my age fool you. I'm young at heart! My years of life experience, both in my personal life as well as serving others in ministry, have taught me the importance of having a compassionate, non-judgmental heart towards others, as well as myself. For we all seem to be our biggest critics. It's also important to approach situations and circumstances in a calm manner, never reacting, but responding with wisdom and grace. There are times when the mightiest action to take is thoughtful silence.
As a certified master life coach I believe that the heart of the matter, matters. Opening our hearts to another places us in a vulnerable position. When we have the courage to be vulnerable, we get to the heart of the matter. I promise to hold your vulnerability with gentleness. I offer life coaching sessions for a donation to support the ministry.
